RedSeal is looking for an experienced inside sales representative to join its team. Your primary objective will be to develop opportunities and set appointments for the outside sales team with senior management at Fortune 2000 organizations and other similar-sized organizations. You will primarily conduct outbound prospecting supported by an aggressive direct mail campaign. In addition, you will qualify and network using leads generated from tradeshows, webcasts and the web.
Requirements:
- 4+ years outbound telesales experience with high-end technology products
- Experience generating opportunities with senior IT decision makers
- Ability to understand complex technical products and communicate their value to senior level executives
- Excellent listening and verbal communications skills. Professional and persuasive phone manner.
- Knowledge of security products such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, etc.
- Intelligent, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Bachelors degree

Pre-Sales Systems Engineer - San Francisco Bay Area
RedSeal has an immediate opening for a Sr. Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to partner with our Director of Sales – West. Successful candidates must have proven experience with firewalls (firewall policy), IP networking (routing, ACLs) and security software (network vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS). The successful candidate must understand Cisco command line syntax and configuration files.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-sales technical sales efforts for RedSeal in Western Region of the US. Supporting mainly Direct Sales with a few select Channels and Systems Integrators
- 50% travel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to CxO, Director and staff engineers
- Experienced in running successful Proof of Concepts
- Qualifying technical sales opportunities
- Hands-on software demonstration
- Training and knowledge transfer sessions to customers and partners
Skills:
- Strong IP Routing, and IP Security Sales experience
- Strong team player who's willing to work hard while having a lot of fun doing a great job
- Excellent technical and business skills
- Excellent attitude and is a self-starter who takes strong accountability for personal results
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering, System Engineering experience
- Experience selling into the Fortune 1000
- Command-line configurations experience with: Firewalls, Routers, and Load Balancers. With vendors such as Cisco, Juniper/Netscreen and F5
- Experience with Network Scanning vendors such as: nCircle, Qualys, Rapid7, and McAfee Vulnerability Manager
- Understanding of Security Policy, Compliance and Audit
- Solid professional references
- BS/BA or equivalent
- Industry certifications such as CISSP , CCIE or CCNP a plus
